Living Life On Your Terms

Life is too short to live by the guidelines and rules of someone else. You never want to reflect back on your life wishing you could have done things differently.

If you want to see more, be more and have more, then you have to let go of what others want for you and figure out what you want for yourself. Being the pilot of your own life means only you can determine if you sink or swim.

We all have the ability to fly free, but we allow fear and doubt to restrict us. We find comfort in safety, but ignore the reality that "playing it safe" doesn't always promote growth or success. Ban negative thoughts from your mind that coincide with, "I can't". Never talk yourself out of life-enriching opportunities.

The hardest part is starting, but once you accomplish your first goal you'll be empowered to embody much more. The business of your dreams is waiting for you to start it and the job you're holding onto may be what's holding you back. Take a risk keeping in mind that even if you do fail the lesson you'll learn from it can lead to your next best move.

Don't waste anymore time wondering. Pitch that idea, move to that state, take that offer, plan that trip, date that guy. Do whatever your heart desires, because it's the only thing in this world you truly have control over.
